Calling this an "Interpretive Center" seems like a bit of a stretch... It's really a small park with some interpretive signs that could use some cleaning to be more legible. That being said, the river is scenic and the Centennial Covered Bridge was worth a walk-through. Cottage Grove is known for its concentration of covered bridges, so in honor of their centennial, they built this pedestrian bridge right in the midst of their downtown. It's not nearly as old as most covered bridges (it was built in the 1980s, not the 1880s), but is modeled after historic bridges in the area. We saw some squirrels and bird's nests as we were walking through. There's no parking lot for this park/"interpretive center", but there's a free public parking lot about a block east on Main St.
