Great stay for a night! The room was nice and big, the bed comfy. I loved the iron headboard too. I didn't even mind the 1950's pink bathroom as everything was very clean and well kept. I appreciated the desk in the room as I had some work to do. Older TV though, one of the big box ones, seems like it wouldn't be too expensive to upgrade to small flat-screens with a better picture. The grounds were beautiful and I really really appreciated how they were pet friendly, I had two big dogs with me and they weren't a problem. Pool and hot tub were open and so was the pool bar. Hot tub was lukewarm, and pretty gross to be honest with dirty colored water. But the pool was great. My daughter and her friend really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and their breakfast solution during COVID was innovative and yummy. We will definitely be back next time we're in Cottage Grove!
I booked with a confirmation number affirmed for two nights,I checked in and stayed the first night then the front desk clerk McKenzie who was very rude told me they had double booked my room and I had to leave because I was no longer in their system. I would like to add, the hotel resort was very nice, the rooms were very clean. The landscape and scenery was exceptional. I ate in the restaurant and the food and service was five star. The live entertainment was enjoyable in the bar. If it wasn't for the incompetence and disrespectful desk clerk Mckenzie it would have been a very nice stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel again but I would also submit a recommendation to train your staff more efficiently, especially on how they speak to guest.
I gave this nice cottage feeling hotel a 4 star only because the pool was not opened, it shouldn’t cost $20 a night just for a fridge and microwave, and the room could have used a little more deep cleaning before we entered it. Everything else was great! I loved the beauty of it, the feeling of comfort, and the niceness of all the staff members. If you ever find yourself in Creswell Oregon I suggest you stay here. It was a lovely experience and I really enjoyed my stay.
The place is well suited for guests with pets. It is too expensive ($200) and breakfast spread was too thin. We stayed for two nights, Breakfast timing is 8:00 am to 10:00 am. We went there exactly at 9:00 am and all we see was pancakes (no whipped cream - kids highly disappointed) couple of fruits and cup cakes, no eggs, no bread, nothing. When asked for eggs the lady over there said that they cant refill eggs as she refilled it thrice already (like whattt). She was so rude and said it was breakfast bar not a restaurant to offer whipped cream. Brought it to receptionist attention, she said she will offer us some discount (NEVER DID), the next day when we went there (8:30 am) the breakfast lady was nice and offered some toasts (just for us) well, thanks for taking some action. Again it is just fruits pancakes (no cream) and scrambled eggs. I would not recommend this place unless you have pets. Dissatisfied.
Where to start. First off, I can't wait to bring my kids back here. They would love all the exploring. It's not fair to say it has a nice garden. It has an amazing 17 acres of beautiful, unique, stunning gardens and landscaping with bits of whimsy, care and dedication throughout. I can't even imagine how many floral varieties they have on hand. Pathways throughout, adorable little hand painted mailboxes scattered throughout with information on the part of the garden you will be entering. I cannot overstate how thrilled I was by all of this. I spied sheds of Christmas decor waiting to go up, so I can only imagine how magical it must be at Christmastime. I also took a peek at the pool. Very nice pool and jacuzzi. Great dog run yard, too! I spoke at length with a groundskeeper who was very sweet and told me even more about the grounds. I love that every room has their own enclosed patio overlooking the garden areas with access's to the pathways. The wedding area and gazebo were lovely as was the covered patio. I can't wait to see wedding photos here. Our room was very nice. Roomy and comfortable. I like that you can adjoin rooms on either side of you. I also like being able to park right outside the door. Did I mention this place is not very expensive? Thank you for a lovely stay.
